The technical Mescalito is designed for long approaches and more technical scrambling providing comfort on extended use. It is built around the new Vibram® Dynamis sole with Lite Base Technology that significantly reduces weight without affecting performance and, combined with a dual-density EVA midsole, provides excellent cushioning compared with more traditional approach shoes. Vibram® Megagrip on the outsole gives you maximum grip and traction on smooth terrain. Other features include a lace-to-toe design and a stretch fit tongue to provide the best possible secure fit.

Technologies

Vibram® Dynamis LBT (Light Base Technology): Lite Bas Technology is exclusively developed for SCARPA® where the rubber sole is reduced to a minimum while the shape and arrangement of the lugs remains unchanged. This significant reduction in the thickness of the sole has no impact on the risk of tearing. The lightweight sole has the same riveting as an identical approach sole constructed with traditional Vibram® technology and shares the same characteristics in terms of grip, duration and wear resistance. The design of the tread has been specifically studied to offer grip and stability for technical approach.
